พระอินทสโรภิกขุ  หรือ หลวงปู่ไข่   เกิดเมื่อ วันอาทิตย์ที่ 5 มิถุนายน พ.ศ.2402 ตรงกับวันขึ้น 5 ค่ำเดือน 7 ปีมะแม  ป็นพระคณาจารย์ผู้เปี่ยมด้วยพุทธาคม มีความสามารถสูงในทางวิปัสสนากรรมฐานเจริญพระกรรมฐานเป็นอารมณ์จนสามารถรู้เห็นเหตุการณ์ได้ล่วงหน้าและท่านสามารถล่วงรู้เหตุการณ์ได้ล่วงหน้าและท่านยังมีชื่อเสียงทางเทศนามหาชาติ นอกจากนี้ ท่านยังมีความสามารถทางแพทย์แผนโบราณได้อีกด้วย
ท่านมรณภาพ 16 มกราคม พ.ศ. 2475 ก็ถึงแก่มรณภาพ สิริรวมอายุได้ 72 ปี พรรษา 52 พรรษา

Therefore, he went on a pilgrimage to study vipassana meditation with a monk in a cave in Kanchanaburi for about 6 years (around 1880 - 1886).

Luang Pu Khai lived on a pilgrimage for about 15 years (approximately 1886 – 2401 B.E.). Therefore, there were people invited to stay at Wat Bang Yi Ruea on the Thonburi side for a year, then Luang Pu Khai went on a pilgrimage along the Khao Lam Na Phrai forest for several more years.
