หลวงปู่อ่ำ

หลวงปู่อ่ำ หรือ พระครูเทพสิทธิการ มีนามเดิม อ่ำ นามสกุล คงจำรูญ ฉายา เกสโร เกิดตรงกับ ๗ ฯ๕ ๖ ปีฉลู วันเสาร์ที่ ๒๙ เดือนเมษายน พ.ศ. ๒๔๐๘ ที่หนองสะพาน ตำบลหนองตะพาน อำเภอบ้านค่าย จังหวัดระยอง บิดาชื่อ คุณพ่อคง คงจำรูญ และมารดาชื่อ คุณแม่นก คงจำรูญ หลวงปู่อ่ำไปฝากตัวเป็นศิษย์หลวงพ่อปาน ที่วัดบางเหี้ยในพรรษาต่อมาหลวงปู่อ่ำ ได้เล่าเรียนวิชาสร้างแพะแกะจากเขาควายเผือกฟ้าผ่าตาย จากหลวงพ่อปาน จนกระทั่งสอบผ่านด้วยการเรียกแพะที่เขวี้ยงเข้าป่ารกให้บินกลับออกมาตกตรงหน้าได้ หลวงพ่อปาน วัดบางเหี้ย จึงกล่าวกับหลวงปู่อ่ำว่า
“ฉันหมดห่วงแล้วว่าวิชาสร้างแพะของฉันจะตายไปพร้อมกับฉัน โดยไร้ผู้สืบทอดเธอคือผู้มีวาสนาบารมีกับการสร้างแพะมหาสเน่ห์ จงนำวิชานี้ไปใช้สงเคราะห์ผู้คนต่อไป…”
ท่านมรณภาพ วันศุกร์ที่ ๑ สิงหาคม พ.ศ.2495 (ขึ้น ๑๐ ค่ำ เดือน ๙) สิริรวมอายุได้ ๘๗ ปี
Luang Pu Am or Phrakhru Thep Sitthikarn had his original name Am, surname Kong Chamroon, nickname Kesaro, and was born on the 7th, 5th, 6th, Year of the Ox, Saturday the 29th of April, 1865 at Nong Saphan, Nong Taphan Subdistrict. Ban Khai District, Rayong Province. His father's name was Father Kong Kong Chamroon and his mother's name was Mae Nok Kong Chamroon. Luang Pu Am entrusted himself as a disciple of Luang Pho Pan. Learned the craft of creating goats and sheep from the horns of white buffaloes struck by lightning. From Luang Phor Pan Until he passed the exam by calling a goat that had thrown itself into the overgrown forest to fly back out and fall in front of him, Luang Pho Pan of Bang Hia Temple said to Luang Pu Am, “I am no longer worried that my Goat Creation Technique will die with me. Without a successor, she is the one who has the fortune and power of creating a charming goat. Please continue to use this subject to help people…”
He passed away on Friday, August 1, 1952 (10th day of the waxing moon, 9th month), aged 87 years.
